Dark Blue World is an excellent film, it mixes aerial combat scenes with a tragic love story. The action is plausible and the characters you can relate to, their Czechoslovak background is much easier to connect with than a typical Hollywood character, which helps to put you in the movie. Overall and enjoyable and thought provoking film, that gives an insight into a chaotic period in history.
