As the tracks progress they get faster and faster, and so the player is called upon for lightning reactions.
New licensed tracks include ‘Wannabe’ by The Spice Girls, ‘All That She Wants’ by Ace of Base, and ‘Virtuality’, by Vbirds. The latter is taken from an animated series, which stars a quartet of dance fans that live in a Dancing Stage arcade machine! The 80s are also well represented in Dancing Stage Fever, with Thin Lizzy’s ‘The Boys are Back in Town’, Squeeze’s ‘Cool For Cats’ and Madness’s ‘One Step Beyond’ adding to the fun.
The game will also boast a number of specially-created tracks created by Konami’s assorted development teams, with the PSone game featuring 16 tracks in total, and the PlayStation version a staggering 28 songs.
