Definitely worth it, it says you can use water to help bind pieces together but need to be careful how much clay to water ratio you use, I found after using water it tends to crack more easily compared to not using water if your just going to be using it to layer it over something else but I think I had the clay to thin, other than that it's definitely a good thing to get if your wanting to get into clay work
