Description

An eye patch doesn't mean an injury or a side job as a pirate, but rather a way for the eye to gain some serious strength. While patching doesn't work for everyone, this book is a great way to explain how patching does work for some kids. "Cooper's Mighty Eye" can be used by parents, teachers, and medical professionals to explain the importance of patching. "Let's get to work!"Partial proceeds from the sale of this book will help families purchase eyeglasses and contacts for their kids with "Mighty Eyes."

Author Biography:

Sara Devlin is a mom to three wonderful and crazy boys. She is married to her high school sweetheart Zach. She picks up occasional side gigs writing and taking pictures. William Devlin is a great big brother. He loves science, playing with friends, and the outdoors. Cooper is doing very well and likes to wear tinted bifocals. He patches several hours a day and it is helping his eye stay strong. He loves to swim, go on adventures, and music. Tyler is the newest brother. He loves to explore, snuggle, and make noises that sound like a tetradactyl. Sara is super excited to work with Brandi on this book. When they were high schoolers in a tiny farm town in Illinois, this was one of their dreams. Sara said she would write the books and Brandi would illustrate them. They are very excited to show their own kid that you can make your dreams come true.
