Tracy A Franklin trained at the Royal School of Needlework for seven years, finally becoming Apprentice Coordinator. She is the author of New Ideas in Goldwork (0713487801) and contributed to The Royal School of Needlework Embroidery Techniques (0713488174), also published by Batsford. She lives in Chester-le-Street, County Durham. Nicola Jarvis is an experienced embroiderer who also attended the Royal School of Needlework. She lives in Manchester.
