Description

There is now increased international interest in the relevance of social theories associated with postmodernism, social constructionism, and narrative approaches for social work. However, no book has explicitly addressed how such issues can be used, not only to analyze social work practice. This is the central aim of this innovative book that poses a major challenge to contemporary assumptions about social work. The approach is affirmative and reflexive and the focus is on the importance of dialogue in social work practice.
