Of Hingham, Mass, who notes in his diary that Samuel Stowell became a member of his church in 1649. Samuel married in Hingham, Oct. 25, 1649. Mary, daughter of John and Frances Farrow. They had eleven children, all born in Hingham. Many of these married in their home town and there raised large families.
