Description

This delightful and thought-provoking little book entrances from the start. The colours themselves are reason enough to have it - the book is bursting with all the colours of the rainbow, with beautiful hues on every page. It really is a feast for the eyes - leaf through the vibrant oranges and reds to discover gentle pinks, cool greens, calming blues and cheerful yellows. A feast for the eyes, but for the mind and spirit also; for, guaranteed, you'll find yourself drawn to some colours above others (are you a Blue person rather than a Red one; or a Gold one rather than a Violet one?). The phrases 'showing your true colours', or being 'green with envy' or 'tickled pink' are shown to have a deeper significance in our unconscious. They may be tags we give spontaneously to each other's behaviour (and they recur in different languages worldwide), but they also hint at the real meaning colour has for us - reflecting our emotions, our thoughts, our memories. The 'readings' of each colour in this book provide insights into our current state of heart and mind and soul. Discover your true colours - you may be surprised at what they say about you...This is a book to treasure, and above all to enjoy.
