Author Biography

Nigel Oxley is Senior Lecturer in Etching and Drawing at LondonMetropolitan University. He was a drawing student at the City &Guilds of London Art School before studying painting and etching atCamberwell School of Art & Crafts. He joined White Ink in 1971leaving in 1978 to become master printer and etcher at Kelpra Studiowhere he stayed until 1990. Nigel set up his own studio in East Sussexand was responsible for much of the graphic archive at the Museum ofInstallation. He has worked with many internationally renowned artistsand regularly exhibits his own work.
