Excerpt from Class of 1904: Secretary's First Report These class reports serve as material for statistics about Harvard men, and so this report appears in the form that others have taken. For the Class itself, however, the main function of the report is to keep us informed about one another, and thus help to preserve the integrity of the Class. This first report records the undergraduate life of the Class as a whole, and of individual members of the Class. Future reports will enlarge the department given to the doings of the men since leaving college addresses, occupations, marriages, etc. Let me urge every member of the Class to respond promptly and fully to my requests for information; and, more than this, to take the initiative, in sending to me information concerning himself and every other member of the Class.
