French-Canadian electronic artist Marie Davidson shares previously unreleased club track Chasing the Light on vinyl for the first time along with the stellar Work It (Soulwax Remix) and Lara (Daniel Avery Remix) – both originally from her acclaimed Ninja Tune album Working Class Woman.

Along with some of her typically tightly wound beat programming Davidson also brings trance synths to the fore here, their zapping arpeggios giving the track some serious momentum.

Legendary Belgian duo Soulwax (2manydjs) propel Marie’s Work It – a spoken text, tongue-in-cheek mantra for the workaholic generation – over their own inimitable reworking of the original track, while Daniel Avery delivers a dark, booming take on the “acidic adrenaline” of Lara.
