What Have We Learned From Current Affairs This Week?
The Chaser continue to wage their war on everything and everyone with the release of episodes 14-26 of the "satirical anti-variety show" that has given news crews around the country plenty to report on this last year.
Filmed in front of a studio audience, the Logie Award-winning team of both CNNNN and The Chaser Decides, do what they do best - confront and lampoon key players from the world of politics, business, religion, media and culture. These signature Chaser ambushes form the core of this "satirical anti-variety show’ - alongside news-of-the-week analysis, comedy sketches, and their uniquely irreverent field experiments.
The Chaser was founded by Charles Firth, Craig Reucassel, Julian Morrow and Dominic Knight, in 1999 as a fortnightly satirical newspaper produced out of a spare bedroom. Since those humble beginnings, the Chaser team has lost its humility, and expanded to include Andrew Hansen, Chas Licciardello and Chris Taylor. Despite still working out of the same spare bedroom, The Chaser has managed to produce Classic™ comedy in all major media, including print, online, radio, television and Christmas crackers.
