This is a game for all the people who think that most hack'n slash games could be improved by adding more opponents. When I first played it, my jaw just dropped. In the first level, the second group of enemies you face is consists of about 25 monsters, which seems like a lot at this point. But once you summon your first ally, the fight is already won. In a matter of seconds you can cut the all down, assisted by a monster which can send groups of enemies flying in all directions. All the different allies are well thought out, as are the special attacks which they allow you to use. For example, the bomber ally can, when not summoned, be dropkicked into hordes of enemies, scattering them across the area. The characters sword-attacks are simpler than the “Prince of Persia” ones, but the amounts of opponents you can thrash make up for this. The storyline is alright.
At a price of ten dollars, this is a real bargain!
