Description

Monique, a rare orange-and-blue monarch butterfly who loves nectar more than anything, is on her way to Mexico with her flock for the winter. On a rest stop, she narrowly escapes from two human butterfly collectors by hiding in a tiny crack in the ground. But soon she finds herself falling deeper and deeper into the earth, landing in a secret underground cave known as "Wormland" - a kingdom of captive caterpillars who have been brainwashed to think that they're worms by a selfish moth queen. When Monique makes friends with a rebellious "changing" caterpillar named Charley, together they begin the dangerous journey back to the Outside World and freedom. "CATERPILLARLAND is a beautiful children's book that speaks to the child inside us all." - Marianne Williamson, New York Times #1 best-selling author of "A Return to Love" "CATERPILLARLAND will touch the hearts of children and parents alike with wonderment, joy, and wisdom." - Michael Bernard Beckwith, author of 'Spiritual Liberation' "Destined to be a timeless classic." - Neil Landau, award-winning screenwriter of "Tad The Explorer," "Capture the Flag," and "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead"
