"Johnathan! Charlotte!"

This, is the Castlevania I had been waiting for. I loved Soma's games, I loved Alucard's. Richter..well, sorry mate. The originals were well done but my skill didn't seem to match up. Portrait of Ruin sang to me in the same way that Symphony of the Night sang to so many people including myself. Having an extra character at your side who has your back is something CV always seemed to be lacking. I ran through the game many times with just Charlotte, but having Johnathan right there when you just can't hold back the hordes. It's a good feeling. In just a few words the game is teamwork, by yourself. Doesn't make sense? Play it. You'll see.
