Description

Carolina Bird talks about the excitement that a young author as myself has gone from average society to on my way to a whole different world. Especially living as a young black male in Charleston South Carolina. Yet still not forgetting to pay attention to everyday life lessons as well as trying to maintain my composure. As you read this book you will feel like you're right next to me as I travel the elevator of life. All of my peers just keep pushing me to keep on going into overdrive and the results are showing more and more in due time.

Author Biography:

James E. Johnson 20 years old is from Charleston, South Carolina. He states that his poetry back ground all starting with girl problems at the age of 14, he was frustrated and went into his quiet place and just got his feelings off of his chest and one of his friends at the time looked at it and explained to him that he can write poetry well. So he continued writing all through his high school career of love, life lessons, personal thoughts, and personal feelings. He wrote about the scenarios that happened around him whether he was a part of them or not he wanted to give his outlook on the situation's at hand. He collected poems over the years and decided, after being told over and over again that he should use his talent, that he would look into getting his work copy written and published.
