Sorry, this product is not currently available to order

An ethnographic account of how the islanders of the Caribbean island of Culebra reproduce a sense of unique insular identity, while engaged in continuous practices of regional and global movements. It proposes the concept of "transinsularism", inspired by the concept of transnationalism, as a means to address the multiple and simultaneous dynamics at play when islanders maintain a sense of unique island culture by developing intimate relations with other discursive spaces.
