This is a perfect expansion for player who really love building HUGE cities and roads. The builder and pig are excellent new meeples to add to your collection

This expansion broadens the horizon for more elaborate strategy. it takes the original expansion from a tile-laying-luck-of-the-draw game into a bit more strategy based decision game. I thought I had the win in the bag, then my husband beat me by a substantial lead. Such is Carcassonne!
A great way to extend the play of Carcassonne. A fun family game involving strategy and forward planning, with a bit of luck thrown in. Easy to learn.
My grandson was delighted with this when I gave it to him. He said it was just what he wanted! That was quite a relief because it's very hard to buy something for him.
