Call of Duty: Ghosts reviews

Don't listen to what anyone else says. This is hands down the best Call of duty game from the franchise yet! Also super fast delivery and great price!!

My first impressions of this game are really not good. This is a step backwards for the franchise imo or at best a par effort. Graphically its average at best. Compared to games like GTA5 and AC4 which blew me away with what could be achieved graphically on the PS3 this just seems like a lack luster effort on the part of infinity ward. Also gameplay wise there aren't really any significant changes to the formula to freshen it up and add any new interest to the game. For me Black Ops 2 did this. I thought it was meant to be an all new game engine. If it is not sure how it is new or what has changed. Maybe once I get into extinction this will save it a bit but first impressions of that were that its not as good as zombies. Unfortunately I feel obligated to now stick it out and play this mediocre game as I regrettably committed to getting the hardened edition expecting much better. I would much rather be playing the better games out at the moment such as AC4 and would suggest to people debating getting this to stick with Black Ops 2 or get something else. There are so many good games that have just released or about to be released and I think this just isn't up there with them at all. Also the lag in multiplayer seems alot worse than it was in Black Ops 2 which I thought overall wasn't too bad. Not sure how the lag system works in Ghosts but maybe its the same as MW3 where the poor connections get the advantage with lag compensation. I have my PS3 wired so seemed to be on the wrong end of lag compensation. However it is done it was horrible and very noticeable. In black ops 2 I hardly noticed it. For me a very regrettable purchase. I give it a 6 out of 10 but really hope it gets better once I play it a bit more. So far I feel a bit Lethargic about the whole game which is how it feels it was developed. Its like they just couldn't be bothered or something knowing people would buy it anyway. Very disappointing!

The game was what I expected. Extinction was a great difference to COD: Black ops II zombies.

I'm a long time cod fan but Ghosts is a huge let down. For your own good do not buy this game. I also purchased bf4 which in every category is better than this game :D

Having read a few reviews I fail to see what all the hype was about. Yes the graphics are good but the maps a way to big, its a camper's heaven. there are to many idiots with hacks. It takes to long to level up and to get perks and weapons. The makers need to address the hacker problem as it is ruining the game. The campaign is great though to short also extinction is a cool replacement for Zombies though needs more levels. All in all I should have waited untill the game went platinum and could have picked it up for about 20 bucks.

Played all cod games online started getting a bit dissapointed with the last few releases, black ops no good, mw3 big let down was when the original designers left and started up respawn. As for black ops 2 just a waste of money now Ghost was a bit hesitant on this purchase but bit the bullet and have to say its not too bad. I do like the maps and game play is not bad. Be better when the whole country has Fibre optics then the lag wont be such an issue. But hey his is my opinion peace and good gaming :)

I pre ordered this game from Mighty Ape, game arrived at 7am on Release day. Probably the only good thing I have to say.

Was expecting campaign mode to be better. I found MW2 campaign mode better. But online is awesome

Love it been playing it since I got it haven't put another disc into my ps3 yet! Multiplayer is fun never gets boring.

Until now I wasn't too much of a fan of FPS games but this has converted me. Lots of action packed levels.

Story plot is ok.

Sure I know it's not the best game out there but it's a decent game. Lots of people say it's the worse cod ever but really it's not that bad. The campaign is worth the play time and I enjoyed the game a lot.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a bit reluctant to buy Ghosts, Im really glad I did, I really enjoyed it, so Im playing it again, if you enjoy cod games you`ll like this one.

The maps are far to big, you barely find anyone and when you do the lags so bad you die before you see them, boring guns, and a useless dog that takes more bullets than a “elite soldier”.

Campaigns decent.

8/10 nothing much new to the series, but still alot of fun to be had. Single player campaign has a good story to it a bit far fetched but good none the less. Buy it on sale like me and you cant go wrong.

Seems as though I am the only person who enjoyed this game. So if you haven't played it and think you may enjoy it, give it a try

Lags alot would recommend black ops 2 instead.

I got this for my boyfriend and I think the storyline itself is amazing, but overall after that its not really that interesting

Great game. Much better than I thought it was going to be. Glad I got it.

Good story to it but the maps in multiplayer are to big campers everywhere! Still a really good game though its a “must get” even if you're not that great a player at first person shooters.

I dont know what everyones problem is. I love it theres nothing wrong with it. So if you havent played it and say its the worst game ever. Give it a try first.

Ghosts is a bit of a change up compared to other CODs squads mode is occasionally fun same with extinction mode takes a bit of getting use to so if you don't like change stay away.

Best call off duty campaign yet
