David Duchovny leads this show wonderfully. Californication is one the most addictive shows I have watched in recent years, it is hilarious yet also serious and emotional at the same time.
It can get quite crude at times (which appeals!! – maybe not to everyone) but always in a way that will make you laugh or smile. If you don't take yourself too seriously you will love this show.
Hell, I'd recommend anyone gives this a chance. You wont regret it! Total 5/5

This is a really funny series, though definitely for over 16 years. Highly entertaining and would recommend for anyone after a good laugh and drama series.
Californication is a witty, boundary-pushing series about a novelist (David Duchovy) with writers block. Breaking from the “life discovery” mould typically seen in this genre, Californication explores outrageous yet relatable characters and their relationships. Extremely well written with an impressive cast (Natascha McElhone, Evan Handler), Californication is for you if you prefer a bit more substance, and a laugh, from your tv viewing.
