Description

When Butterfly joins a family of dachshunds, she doesn't realise how different she looks ...until she unexpectedly sees herself in a mirror. It takes Oscar, her best friend, to convince her that the other dogs love her for herself. Being different doesn't mean being an outsider or being seen as ugly.

Author Biography:

Tricia Oktober is a multi-award-winning writer and illustrator. She lives in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, surrounded by her beautiful garden. She has eight dogs - five mini shorthair dachshunds and three pugs - and a pair of elderly doves. Also by Tricia: The Lost Tail (with Patricia Bernard), Wetlands, Bush Party, Drought, and Bush Babies.
