And there in the distance was a sight that Buster will remember forever. A large saucer shaped craft sat silently in the clearing. The morning sunlight reflected off of the shimmering silver surface. Buster was fascinated by the strange looking craft. It reminded him of an upside-down teacup saucer. "Wow!" Buster said out loud. "It's a time machine Buster," Rascal replied excitedly, then ran toward it. Buster paused by the tree. "A time machine?" he said quietly to himself. Buster called Sam to his side and pondered his next move. No one is going to believe this, he thought. Buster and Sam then moved cautiously toward the craft. "It's ok," Rascal said reassuringly. The forest was unusually quiet, not one bird to be heard. There was a slight humming sound coming from the silver time machine. Sam made a whimper, she was very excited to explore further. Then with a startling sound, sparks flew out the side of the machine. The sound of an electric motor caught Buster's attention. A door began to open.
