Description

Bugaboo-Bee wants to do the bee-bop dance in the spotlight like the elder forager bees. But she hasn't learned the bee secret of turning bitter nectars into sweet honey by growing through the household chores of a worker bee's lifecycle. She takes flight before her time and strikes up the band to dance, sending all the wrong messages. Chaos ensues with hilarity and heartbreak! Can Bearnardo the Beekeeper save the day? Will Bugaboo finally learn contentment through patience and the secret of turning bitter seasons sweet? Told in a rhyming text with jewel toned watercolor illustrations, this family literacy enrichment resource uses the power of story to illustrate principles for living wise and well. Included are a new word glossary, discussion questions, and fascinating facts about bees and honey.
