This has everything–great characters, great storylines, great humour, and great acting! I thought it looked silly from the TV promos (and I expected a lot of crass/over-the-top humour given Andy Samberg's, in my opinion, hit-and-miss comedy), but I was hooked from the first episode I watched, which was mid-way through season 3, so I bought season 1 on DVD and I'm loving it!
One of the most funniest and witty comedies I've watched.
The ensemble cast really works well together and are all extremely talented and funny. One of my favorite casts on a TV Show.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is an American action comedy television series that airs on Fox.
The first season of this sitcom follows the lives of an eclectic group of detectives in a precinct in Brooklyn, New York. At the centre is Jake Peralta, who is gifted at his job but has a tendency to joke around. When straitlaced new commanding officer Ray Holt takes over the precinct, Jake finds himself at odds with his new leader. Meanwhile, Jake competes with the precinct's other star detective, Amy Santiago, for the most arrests; and eternally awkward detective Charles Boyle tries to deal with his unrequited love for rough-around-the-edges colleague Rosa Diaz. Rounding out the workplace is Sergeant Terry Jeffords and space cadet office administrator Gina Linetti.
