Breaking Bad Season 2 reviews

Season 2 of Breaking Bad continues what became a glorious FIVE SEASON masterpiece.

While I do say masterpiece in every sense of the word, I have only given it 4/5 stars because the series was rather overhyped for me as a whole. This is mainly due to certain characters however getting on my nerves, Skyler excluded – cough cough.

I'm not going to give away any plot elements in this review, but what I will say is this – if you are sick of poor television shows saturating the entertainment industry, then watch one of the rare gems that made it to a proper series finale and didn't end on a mid-series, PERMANENT, cliffhanger.

So do yourself a favour and treat yourself by buying this DVD-set.

If there is one word that describes BB, it is “escalation”. Walt's situation starts off small but soon snowballs into something far more complex and dangerous.

No issues with the visual and sound quality of the DVDs. Some nice extras to give you more bang for your buck.

The chemistry between Walt and Jesse make for great dynamics as the plot weaves itself into your lives. The most surprising element regarding this series, for me, is that in real life, I would be so disapproving of the lives Walt and Jesse are leading and yet I cannot help myself enjoying and yes, even laughing, at events as they unfold. Already into Series 3 and giving that the big tick as well.

Sadly, the following seasons became progressively more extreme, and thus very implausible. But an impressive series with brilliant acting prowess. A few minor technical indiscretions by the director, unnoticeable to most of the viewers. What's next for Vince Gilligan and Aaron Paul

I first had this show recommended to me by a friend from the states earlier this year. The tv show there is in its 4th and final season. The characters in Breaking Bad are very believable, especially 2009 Emmy Award winner Bryan Cranston who is brilliant. If you are new to the Breaking Bad series Bryan Cranston plays the dad on Malcom in the Middle. Season Two picks up right where the first series of 5 episodes left off. In Breaking Bad Season Two Walt, the science teacher turned drug lord figures out how upgrade his operation, despite the best efforts of his bumbling sidekick to derail things at every turn. You will be glued to your seat and will find it very hard to watch only one episode at a time! Highly recommended viewing. Rent or buy the Season One then buy this sequel, you will not be disappointed.

Every episode will take you in an unforeseen spin off to the last, this is ultimately 1 of if not the best mini series I have ever come across. You will not be unhappy with this purchase!

Great continuation on season 1, funny, thought provoking and interesting. Watching a man trying to do what he can for his family before he goes, but keeping a secret that would devastate his family if they ever found out!

This is truly incredible viewing material, very creepy, thought provoking, intriguing and occasionally very funny. With incredible acting from all the leads & original, fresh cinematography it is also very visually gratifying. The best program I have seen, even if not my favourite.

A dark, psychological comedy that has you on the edge of your seat each episode. There is no predictability at all. Fantastic.
