Bohnanza is an excellent game for hobby gamers and family gamers alike. It contains very simple rules that can be explained to new players in about five minutes so it doesn't take long to get a game up-and-running. The core of the game involves trading bean cards with other players to score points and everyone can be involved in the trading phase on every player's turn, so there isn't any downtime between turns. The game also scales really well and plays in about the same time regardless of the number of players. If you like card games, light rules, interacting with the other players and haggling, then you are sure to enjoy Bohnanza.

This is a great trading/negotiating card game and it goes down with almost all types of people! The rules are simple and its easy to teach. Its so entering to be part of the banter trying to get the beans that you need and managing the plots of land that you have. Really awesome game!

Great game. Lots to learn to start with but definitely well worth it. We played over and over for almost two days solid and could have kept going.

Great game when you know how to play lot of fun.

Fun and quite quick

This is to be one of my most favorite card games to play. Easy to learn and everyone always wants to play it. There are a few rule changes from previous editions including being unable to buy a bean field – however, remember to include it it there are three people!

This card game is like no other I've ever played. You're constantly interacting even when it's not your turn. Very strategic game. A must for all card/board game lovers.

Doesn't take long to learn and anyone can play. Played with friends who had it and bought it the second I got home. Addictive and fun for all group sizes from 2–7.

We play this with our 10yr and 8 yr old. It didn't take them too long to pick up the concept (though they aren't too good with the strategy yet). We shorten the game (once through the deck) which keeps them interested. They love it and so do I.

Awesome wee game that can be adjusted to get through quicker if needed. Plant those beans!!!
