The height of this box is not suitable for larger loafs or be read loaf made in a bread machine which is what we brought. We should have looked at the measurements. We use the box to store our potatoes and onions as the air vent on the side of box is useful. Also, washing our lid made the wood split in half from the water so yeah not good storage for bread.
