Author Biography

A lifelong boater, William M. Burr, Jr., is author of two how-to books about boating: Boat Maintenance (IM, 2000) and Sailing Tips: 1,000 New Ways to Solve Old Problems. He lives aboard a 37-foot Jeanneau sailboat and regularly faces the problems that he writes about -- including that of keeping his boat safe during storms.
