When their solar system begins to collapse, a group of inhabitants departs for planet earth and lands in an isolated national forest. They must use their space ship and its power source for sustaining their new community. With the exception of a few immigrants to the outside world, they remain private and separate from the rest of planet earth's inhabitants until one of their group decides to sell the innovative knowledge of the science that brought them there to a greedy, corporate C.E.O. from the outside world.
