This story is AMAZING I've gotten people into this series with ease (even those who don't like dark stories or anime) basically the main character finds out that he is a Deamon, and no ordinary Deamon but the son of the Deamon King Satan. Follow Rin's quest to become an Exorcist and get revenge on Satan for killing Father Fujimoto while making friends and learning how to controll his powers while trying to hide is Deamon nature from everyone

A must read for everyone who can get their hands on it

Purchased on Mighty Ape

This was my first purchase from mighty ape and i'm a big manga fan. I was really happy when I received it only the next day after purchasing and straight away I could tell Kazue Kato was a really talented artist. I'd never heard of this series before but I really enjoyed the first book and i'll definitely buy more of the series. I recommend this manga to anyone who likes any of the big 3 manga (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) or just about any other Shonen manga

Description

Raised by Father Fujimoto, a famous exorcist, Rin Okumura never knew his real father. One day a fateful argument with Father Fujimoto forces Rin to face a terrible truth – the blood of the demon lord Satan runs in Rin's veins! Rin swears to defeat Satan, but doing that means entering the mysterious True Cross Academy and becoming an exorcist himself. Can Rin fight demons and keep his infernal bloodline a secret? It won't be easy, especially when drawing his father's sword releases the demonic power within him!

Author Biography

Manga creator, writer and illustrator Kazue Kato was born in Tokyo on July 20. In 2000, she won the prestigious Tezuka Award for her work Boku to Usagi (The Rabbit and Me) published in Akamaru Jump. From 2005 to 2006 her series Robo to Usakichi, a sci-fi adventure featuring a rabbit (again!) was published in the monthly magazine Shonen Sirius (Kodansha). Her latest series, Blue Exorcist, began in Jump Square in April of 2009.
