These shorts aren't entirely made of cotton around the waistband there seems to be some kinda of stretchy lycra which means the shorts fit really well. After a few washes the colour fades and the dark navy fades to almost a blue-grey washed out look.

I noticed they're currently on “clearance” for $86.33. The original pair I bought in November 2021 were only $64.50 so not sure how Mighty Ape's “clearance” pricing works!? At $64.50 I thought they were reasonable value for a comfortable pair of casual shorts. At more than $85 they're not such great value.
