Birds and other flying animals is a new title in the Animal Close-Ups series.The books are produced in collaboration with the Natural History Museum, London.The photographer has taken all the photos especially for the books, and their experts have checked and approved all the contents. In Birds we take to the skies with the creatures of the air. We explore the wings and flying skills of birds, bats and insects in incredible detail. The first-person text is lively and direct, to really engage the young reader. Featured are: eagle, swan, duck, hummingbird, bat, hoverfly, beetle and butterfly.
