Bioshock 2 Rapture Edition reviews

Totally worth it. It simply is the Chuck Norris of gaming. If you don't buy Bioshock 2 at this price it will haunt you forever. The broken glass on the cover is Embossed so it feels like it really is broken glass and so it the title. The art book is without a doubt a one of a kind collectors item and the t-shirt will be the envy of all your friends, even if they dont know bioshock the picture is just so awesome. You will definitely be happy with your purchase.

the graphics are wicked, challenging gameplay but regenerating allows you to have a good time without getting frustrated or bored.

BioShock 2 has a big reputation to live up to. The critically acclaimed BioShock put together a stylized, provocative world; it wasn't a perfect game, but the story – a red-herring-filled plot mixed with existentialist (and objectivist) philosophy – turned the game into much more than a shooter; BioShock was a game that made you think. And while BioShock 2 borrows heavily from its predecessor's a­esthetic and solid gameplay, it fails to provide the strong narrative that made the original so compelling.

i ordered the game 5pm the day before it arived 7am the next day and i was playing it 7.10am. love the game! love the Tee! was a great price! And will definitely be buying all of my games through mighty ape.

Returning to Rapture is well worth your time.

Yeah the storyline it not quite as great as the first time round but the improved game-play really makes up for that. The ability to wield plasmids and guns at the same time makes the combat flow much better and makes the game more fast paced. I didn't find it as spooky as the first game but there certainly are still moments when you will get a little creeped-out . Characters are well developed and all of your in-game choices will determine the final outcome of the game.

One of the best single player games out at the moment and definitely worth another playthrough just to see the many different endings.

The multiplayer is a nice addition but it won't have you as addicted as major multiplayer titles such as the Call of Dutys or Halo 3. But overall best 60 dollars I've ever spent on a 360 game, it's well worth the money and well worth the return to Rapture.

Google defines “Rapture” as ‘a state of elated bliss’, and that is exactly where Bioshock 2 sends you. Not only can you now duel-wield Plasmid in one hand and your Weapon in the other, but you now get to enjoy being one of the first Big Daddys ‘created’ in Rapture. Now with the addition of online multiplayer you can rain down the hurt on fellow Splicer citizens of Rapture under the guise of a “Personal Defence Weapons Test” before the fall of Rapture and it's reclamation by the ocean. With the first lot of multiplayer map add-ons being completely free from XBOX Live it's a wonder I haven't proven my superiority over you in Mercury Suites. The gameplay is fantastic with a lot of over-hauling and touch ups on the original and the HD graphics have you believing you are infact Subject Delta, ‘last’ of the Alpha Series. If you loved Bioshock, or just want another amazing FPS, with Bioshock 2 you can't go wrong.

Amazing production values and atmosphere – A fantastic game overall. Highly recommended!

The game was amazing. Great story, stellar graphics. The T-shirt looks good and the figurine is a collectors item. The art book is full of concept art and designer notes, so it is an interesting read.

This game is a must buy for Bioshock fans.
