I thought I was buying chocolate covered cherries. I've never tasted dragees before, its an unusual tasting jube lollie that tastes nothing like cherry. I won't buy again.
I love cherries, I wasn’t sure what dragees would mean when I bought these. Mentos are described as “chewy dragees” so I thought some kind of cherry candy coated in chocolate. In fact, they are like a hard jelly coated in chocolate and I found them revolting personally. I chopped up the whole box and baked them into shortbread. At a cheap price, might be fun to try, but I was disappointed. Packaging is ok and they arrived in good condition.
A delicious dragee treat, coated in decadent dark chocolate and wrapped in an elegant box design – it'll be hard to stop at just one.
