Description

Life. Liberty. The pursuit of happiness. These rights are supposedly granted to us as citizens of the United States of America. But are they in reality? Flora Fox has worked in the American healthcare system for over a decade. It's not exactly a secret that dissatisfaction with the U.S. privatized healthcare system is at an all-time high. Between high costs and piles of confusing paperwork, it's a wonder most of us are still alive at all. Loaded with relatable metaphors and comically irreverent observations, Flora addresses the worst parts of the system that profits off of keeping us poorer and sicker- and serves as a cautionary tale against the corporate greed that is, quite literally, killing us.

Author Biography:
