Flora Fox has worked in the American healthcare system for over a decade. It's not exactly a secret that dissatisfaction with the U.S. privatized healthcare system is at an all-time high. Between high costs and piles of confusing paperwork, it's a wonder most of us are still alive at all. Loaded with relatable metaphors and comically irreverent observations, Flora addresses the worst parts of the system that profits off of keeping us poorer and sicker- and serves as a cautionary tale against the corporate greed that is, quite literally, killing us.

Author Biography:

Flora Fox was born and raised in Northern California and launched headfirst towards a career in the medical field as soon as she graduated from high school. From the back of an ambulance to her own office sending claims appeals, Flora has seen it all when it comes to healthcare. She currently resides in Seattle with her fiancee and two fish.
