Bible 101 by Duane Christensen
Sorry, this product is not currently available to order

A completely new approach to Bible introduction. While focusing attention on the canonical process in ancient Israel and the Christian Church from earliest times to the present, the author draws upon the most recent work in biblical studies as well as upon Jungian depth psychology to present the biblical text as a single book with a discernible structure which highlights its theological meaning, rather than as a mere collection of miscellaneous texts.

Author Biography

Duane L Christensen holds a doctorate from Harvard University and is currently Professor of Biblical Studies and Near Eastern History at William Carey International University (Pasadena). He taught Old Testament in the Graduate Theological Union for fifteen years and is the author of numerous articles and several books.
