Description
Beyond Mars is one of the rarest Sunday adventure strips. Created in 1952 it only appeared in a single newspaper, the New York Sunday News-an attempt to boost circulation at the time when television was just starting to to hurt Sunday newspaper sales... Alone among science fiction strips of the era, it was written by a bona fide science fiction star-Jack Williamson, and drawn by Lee Elias, one of the great purveyors of Good Girl Art.
