5 stars may be a little extreme. I mean the game technologically isn't cutting edge, but what it lacks in bleeding-edge, it more than makes up for in fun factor.
The gameplay is just brilliantly polished. The areas where you are required to sneak along (theres lots of these), you really get the impression of impending doom if you screw up. The use of lighting is brilliant, creeping along, hiding amongst the shadows, avoiding the light. Very cool. This is almost Splinter Cell mixed with a light version of Knights of the Old Republic.
Theres several mini-games from hovercraft races, to bandit cave chases to playing a shufflepuck-like game in the local bar (have to get all the pucks onto the opponents side of the table).
The characters are well designed and are usually fairly amuzing. From the rasta rhinomen mechanics to you fairly thick sidekick in later levels Double H. Some of his comments are hilarious.
My only gripe is the dialogue. Not all of the dialogue is spoken, theres quite a few text lines which IS kinda dissapointing.
