It's been a long, hard winter in the small Alaskan town of Lake's Edge - and things are about to get even tougher. Caroline Carver was born in the UK. She has taken part in the London to Saigon Motoring Challenge and the London to Cape Town 4x4 Adventure Drive. She blames her love of adventure on her parents: her mother set the land speed record in Australia and her father was a jet fighter pilot.
