This text examines and interrogates the relationships between Samuel Beckett's works and contemporary French and German thought. Author Biography:

RICHARD J. LANE is Senior Lecturer in English at South Bank University and Director of the London Network for Modern Fiction Studies. He is the author of Jean Baudrillard and numerous journal articles.
