I have followed the Battlefield series since Battlefield 1942. It's the game I have spent most of my gaming time on throughout my life I would say. That has all changed with Battlefield V. It pretty much just feels like I've paid for some new maps. There really isn't anything in this version that makes me feel like its a new game, and I've been pretty disappointed with it. This is the first Battlefield game of the entire series, that I think I've spent less than 20 hours total on, and I got it from release. It's always been my ‘go to’ game to unwind and have a bit of fun. I'm not drawn to this one, and with my PSN Plus account expiring soon, I haven't even felt the need to renew that, because BF was all I used to play, and now I pretty much don't touch it. Hopefully I'll get into the next one. Such a disappointment.

It's very buggy and more like a beta than a finished game. The player base is way down, BF4 seems to have more players. Maybe wait a year till its in the bargain bin and it might be done by then.
This is going to be a great title once the missing feature is released, the game itself if you like war movies or a solid first person platform this is for you plenty of action and shooting but it feels like it’s missing something, authenticity it’s World War Two but even so ea and dice have made a pretty solid re-enactment it is what it is I like it so see you what you think grab a copy …
Battlefield 5 is up for sale on Mightyape's January 2019 sale. $59.00 a better deal than what I paid for the $128 edition on release. I could never imagine BF3, or bad company 2 or even bf4 dropping in price this quick.

I'll get this out of the way first, battlefield v is a good game but it has moments of controversy. i purchased this game right before the 5.2 ttk patch, this update has been received with overwhelmingly negative reception. i have not played pre 5.2 bfv so i can't say how good that was. but from the content i have played and observed on youtube the game is good. action is very nice and keeps you in the moment. there is a lot of content to play from the singleplayer stories to multiplayer. you will have a good time but not all the time due to rough development at times.
