The writing and art in this book are superb. Frank Miller does a great job of capturing the essence of Batman's character, while David Mazzuchelli's composition and style perfectly fit the book's tone. Over 20 years after it's original debut and this book is still one of the greatest Batman stories ever told.

You can definantly tell where the writers for Batman Begins got their inspiration from. While that origin movie focused on Bruce Wayne and his transformation to Batman, Year One is more of a Comissioner Gordon and Gotham City corruption story. Not saying that as a criticism, i think it give more of the story and gives Batman more of reason to exsist
There are no word in English or any other language for that matter of fact, that will do justice to this comic. Great place to start for new batman fans.
Miller and Mazzuchelli really nail Batman. Millers ideas honed by Mazzuchelli art makes for a very cool comic. Lays the ground work for how we see batman today.
Love the book thankyou
The story of Year One is well constructed and you can really see why it had such an impact on the franchise. The art style is nice and unique as well, though I personally found the text a bit hard to read due to how cursive it is. Overall a great book, and it arrived in perfect condition.
This is an awesome read and has some great extras for any Batman fan. If you have watched the animated version of Year One, you would come across the inspiration that Warner Brothers got from this book. The book depicts a classic intro to the caped crusader with amazing artwork. Im quite happy to have this in my Batman collection and any avid fan should have one!
A nice classic to have in your collection if you haven't read this, you should.
