Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition reviews

Batm: Arkham Asylum bought the Batman series into a new generation, and Batman: Arkham City puts the Batman series into the 22nd Generation.

Joker, Harley Quinn, Black Mask, Dead Shot, Mr. Freeze, Bane… The list goes on. Every villan is back, including those that have not been seen for awhile. Also, the extra ability of being able to play Cat Series increases the atmosphere alot. The Gadgets, Freeflow Fightning Sequences, and even the Continue of Riddlers Riddles make this game one of the best to be played this year.

5/5, and let the Crime Fighting Begin.

A well recommended game to all fans. Possibly one of the best games ive ever played. This one is the 2nd part and would surely be hard to beat if they decide to make a 3rd!

I loved batman arkham asylm all your favorite villans are back From arkham city including all new heros like robin, Cat Woman, and night wing your free to choose your own path in this game by going along with the main story or doing side missons when when ever you want this makes the gam truly unique. Okay so I have come across this game after finishing ACR for the fourth time. And I should not compare against other sandpit classics but I will. Plus I am not a huge fan of comic book superheros that get made into games. But I seriously cannot see what the hype is all about. I've played this for a day and find there are many flaws. Yes it has a fantastic atmosphere and great visuals but that is about it. The radar for finding where you are supposed to be going is rubbish and the map does not help either. One other problem is the combos you can potentially deal out to the baddies, oh so many and how you are supposed to remember them and actually complete them when you are supposed to is difficult. And another thing is the tutorial that seems to be missing or the help or could be getting is just not there when it should be for people who are new to this game. Graphically the characters are not portrayed the best, seems to be lacking really. Cut scenes are great but leave you wondering how Batman got from point A to B. Apart from all these issues I love the whole detective thing you can pull out and all the other goodies that are at your disposal that other sandpit games do not have. So overall I wonder how it won game of the year- But it is solid and uncompromising.

This is everything I could have possibly wanted, and then some. So much extra content, I loved the game and everything else was just so much icing on the cake it was fantastic.

Most Amazing game that I have played of 2011! This bundle is amazing! The DLC's are great, The free movie looks awesome! The Art Book is beyond amazing! so detailed! and the soundtrack is all ive been listening to all week! Statue looks sick as! The graphics are clear and flow well with the controls, the voice acting especially the joker is fantastic!

BUT!

I have a few gripes with this bundle and the game..

1. The game does not come in its own box, it is attached to a clip on in the back of the art book.
2. I was about 40% through the game and my save DELETED ITSELF!!!! this is a problem with the game that thousands of fans are experiencing atm (check out google, ign, yahoo answers) and nothing has been done about it, so I have lost all motivation to get that far again or further to have all my hard work lost!

If it wasn't for the Save issue the game would still be a five! Hope you other monkeys enjoy my review – Ben
