Denotation is its first birthed meaning from its Source. Connotations are the way Denotations make one "feel" or how one emotionally reacts to it. These are sourced by whatever opinions human authorities say it is; or, in African Tradition, from God's ancestral Essence "Seeds" which Mathematically (step-by-step in singular or association ways) Evolve into diverse Cosmic Entities. And so an Entity's inferred God's Presence "what it is" meaning + its "What"/"Why" messages are the only Etymological Truths. Birthed from this context are all African Tradition life-shaping/life-changing Definitions, Meanings, Concepts, Decisions, Solutions. Since these give rise to ingredients for Thought Structures, whatever of them are used remain part of the metaphorical Cosmic River Seed System-i.e. in Continuity (unity among all diversity) form. Words are mere sounds until given a meaning. Because African Tradition meanings have a unified underlying stability that remains interrelated throughout the whole, so do resultant Thought Structures. This is African Tradition's Ordered Thinking Foundation which remains Organized, no matter in which direction ones Thoughts go.
