Author Biography:

Michael is a Principal Cloud Architect with Aditi. Before joining Aditi, Michael was a 15 year Microsoft veteran with numerous years of application development consulting experience focusing on Native Code, ASP.NET, SQL Server, SharePoint and of course Windows. Along with deep technical experience in the consulting space, Michael has been a Senior Technical Evangelist focusing on Infrastructure as a Service and was the original designer and developer of the Windows Azure PowerShell cmdlets for Compute (IaaS/PaaS/VNET). More recently he was a Senior Program Manager for the Windows Azure Cloud Services SDK and the WA PowerShell cmdlets. Michael is a frequent conference speaker with sessions at BUILD, TechEd and numerous others. His focus is on cloud computing, web development and server workloads. Michael is based out of Lantana, Texas, and when he's not writing or talking about code, he enjoys spending time with his family in the Texas sun.
