No complaints. They sound way better than any other pair I've owned. And they feel pretty durable. They are very comfortable for using over a long period of time. And the cool thing I like is the interchangeable cables, three to choose from.

Not only the headphones but the service from mighty ape was superb – I ordered the pair around 10:00 am in the morning and got to me that afternoon around 6:00. From Auckland to Christchurch that is the quickest package I have ever gotten. Thanks a lot!!

I have had these headphones on my wish-list for a long while (I was waiting to buy an appropriate amp so I could drive them properly), and the sound quality is fantastic.

These are defiantly not headphones for use with a phone/tablet (earphones are a better choice for them) as they require more power than they can provide, but if you have an amp or a computer with good quality on-board sound/ sound card or a USB DAC you will be pleased with these headphones.

The only downside I have with them is that wearing glasses with them can be a bit uncomfortable.

Anyway, these things aside – for the longest time my go to studio monitor headphones for both movies and music plugged into an amp have been my Sony MDR-7505's. They have a very ‘authenic’ natural clear sound stage (a lot of directors use them on set), decent bass and what I'd consider precise sound delivery across the full spectrum. One problem, they're somewhat fragile but more annoyingly the ear pads disintegrate very quickly requiring frequent replacement (at least once a year!). Accumulated frustration pushed me to explore alternatives and after reading reviews I decided on a set of M50X cans and I'm well pleased I did! The build quality is excellent, being both solid materials yet very comfortable and decent quality long life leather pads. The 45mm drivers in these deliver top notch very ‘full’ sound stage. It's a warm kind of sound and hard not to love them. As far as using them with a mobile etc, I have no probs driving them to more than acceptable volumes with my iPhone, but to be fair the larger drives really do shine plugged into an amp and as such is were I'd recommend they get used most often.

Amazing audio! Makes high quality music sound like heaven, I use them to listen to music all day while I'm at work and they're comfy, have a very high build quality, and sound incredible :)

The bass isn't too heavy and just right. The mids and the highs are crisp, ie. I can hear the vocals clearly and hi-hats with an organic sound.

Listening to dubstep with these headphones is a real joy, best pair of headphones I've ever owned!

The connections in these headphones broke in two weeks. I recommend buying anything else.

Bought this and paired it with a modmic for gaming. Way better than any gaming headset iv tried. If you want to use them with your phone it is possible but they will be quieter than ear buds. For music they are pretty accurate. I really like the highs. Bass fiends might be dissapointed, as the bass is punchy as opposed to deep. Bass can intrude into the mids. For the price they are as good as it gets for cans.

I bought these headphones solely for recording – connected them to my audio interface and they work perfect! 10/10! (A friend actually recommended I get these if I wanna do some recording lol, they were right)

The ATH-M50X with the UMC22 is excellent Crisp sound with fantastic bass and treble. Would recommend it if you are gaming and making YouTube content. Sounds way better than my Sony WH-1000XM4 and the Sennheiser HD 569.

Sound nice, although I notice the cables will break sometimes. This is offset by the sapce cables included with the head phones.

Always wanted a pair of these as are considered top of the line at an affordable price and they sure are.

I ordered Ath-M50X and it rocks my ears like a champ! This is a wonderful headset if you want to listen to upbeat and bassy songs. Recently, due to tight deliveries my product was delayed and the Mightyape staff were informative about the status of my headset. In the end, the quality of the sound of the headset is worth the wait.

The built is amazing and quite sturdy. Good balance of sound from the bass to the mids, also very reliable to have on you for general music listening to audio mixing.

By far the best headphones that I have ever owned. Was able to hear and appreciate components of a song that I didn't know even existed. The headphones are tuned “Flat”, which means you wont get a whole lot of bass compared to other headphones. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a headphone for around this price. You wont find a better deal!

I went from astro a50 wireless set set to these and I am very happy with my purchase. They are comfortable and have great sound, enough bass as well if you listening to music.

Really fast delivery and extremely happy with my purchase, the only think that I didn’t like was that that tracking was never updated. I feel like when you spend a lot of money on an item and pay for fast tracked delivery it’s nice to know where your parcel is at and the tracking info never changed or updated on the website until I marked it as delivered. Other than that awesome service!

Expected more from these headphones, especially if you consider the price ($270 on special). You definitely do not want to buy these if you are just listening to music from a portable device e.g., phone, tablet, etc. Sound volume does not go very loud and the bass is almost non existent. Otherwise the accessories such as the 3 different cord type/lengths and bag are an excellent addon. Personally I found these headphones extremely comfortable over a period of 2 hours.

Got my headphones today & they are amazing. Sound quality is great ,only cons is the size, bit bigger than the other headphones… Rest it's a value for money product & thanks to mighty ape express shipping got it on a same day…
