Description

Attempting to look squarely at several critical areas of world poverty, this reference clarifies the issues that are still being addressed as well as those that are being avoided altogether. Acknowledging that the forces stacked against the most impoverished countries are far more formidable than many are prepared to admit, this discussion considers fundamental problems such as the growth of population, global warming, and interest repayments on estimated debts of $3 trillion. Contending that very little has fundamentally changed in the countries that need it the most, this argument maintains that those who wish to prevent disasters must embrace new strategies.
