For a Xbox specific headset you can’t use the mic without a aux cord (not supplied, ($400 really…))from the amp to your controller which is not mentioned as far as I can see. Then you have to get the app on your Xbox go to streamer mode and mute the volume of the aux so you don’t have duel sound. Should be a simple plug and play for the cost and should come with all the required equipment.

Recently bought a set of these. The sound quality is great but everything neglects to mention that if you have a 1st generation xbox in order to use the mic you need to seperately purchase a trrs cable (which I might add aren't easy to get without ordering online) so I had to wait a week to be able to get the full potential out of these. When the box says xbox compatible and for the price it should really be plug amd play

I just purchased one yesterday I thought I better get a darn good headset for my Xbox One X and S (got both consoles). I've got the previous generation Astro A40 in Nov 2015 for PS4. Yeah I've got a growing collection of headsets but these are probably the best.

These are worth every cent

After astro finally fixed the mic mounting point these headsets are amazing. (Now just a press in on either side, used to be a push and twist to lock on the left side, always broke) Little annoying to set up but the sound clarity and customisation is awesome.
