A sympathetic, fairly comprehensive, easy to read book. It's encouraging for people on gives lots of simple, practical advice for the people around someone on the spectrum. It's very helpful to read about the very under studied and enigmatic subject of females with AS, from someone who is actually a female with AS. Not so much generalization and sexist nonsense you find in other books. The only thing I would give caution for is the fact that the author draws from her own personal experience and understanding A LOT, even though she has interviewed many others, it's important to remember that her case is as individual as an human being's and isn't a solid guideline or template for the traits of AS or how everyone should deal with it.
