Author Biography:

ROB CALLAN is a Technical Consultant specialising in artificial intelligence and pattern recognition. This will be his fourth book and his third major textbook, having previously written for Prentice Hall, Letts and OUP. He lectured in artificial intelligence for a number of years before returning to the aerospace industry.
